Terms of Sale, Conditions of Delivery
Our offers are subject to prior sale. The condition of all items is
carefully described; all items are guaranteed to be complete unless otherwise
stated. All prices are given in Euros and include German VAT ( actually
7% for books and 16% for photographs), but do not include, customs, postage
and packing. Invoices will be rendered in Euros. The title of goods does
not pass to the purchaser until the invoice is paid in full. Please tell
us your VAT # to deduct the VAT. You may order items from J. J. Heckenhauer safe in the knowledge that any item may be returned if you are not happy with it providing we are notified within 7 days of your receiving it. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under German or EC law for returning the item outside this period. For the sake of protection, goods should only be returned in the original packaging they were sent in, using all the protective materials. If you return the works in damaged condition, you will be required to provide compensation of equivalent worth. Regarding mountings and frames any scratches, spots and breaks and regarding prints any breaks, dents and spots have to be considered a total loss. Your postage costs and any payment already received will be refunded immediately on our receipt of the books / artwork in the same condition as they were received by you. All
orders of our customers are binding. We will confirm our customer's
orders. This confirmation, however, is not binding for J. J. Heckenhauer
oHG, and means, that we have received the offer, but that we reserve
the right not to accept it. We have the right to accept the order within
7 working days. And we have the right to reject the order within 7 working
